Breathtaking dance acrobatics…. “Timeless” is her ( Aditi’s ) new production….Seventy minutes of permanent change, bare feet strike the floor in a virtuous way, hands plea, whisper or flutter - unconventional turns - both women and men move through space  at a terrific speed. Their contours turning blurred. Even on their knees they hardly turn slower. Sometimes the traditional Indian dance is still there to be seen – but in the next moment a contemporary gesture breaks into the former language of symbols…Music and song and rhythm - for our ears: perfect.

Aditi entered in flourish with pirouettes which were breathtaking….Aditi has acquired her own distinct stamp in Kathak, be it solo or group work….one could see the intensity in not only expression through words but also with angikabhinaya, bodily movements, as if each pore of the devotee’s body was engulfed by the energy she was seeking…Unleashing energy through power and speed, without lapsing into inconclusive movements or gimmicks, Aditi showed that Kathak form is capable of telling stories both through nritta and abhinaya.

She let loose her quick-silver movements, astonishing jumps, strong pirouettes and occasional misty-eyed dreams in rock- still postures…..Setting the stage ablaze. It was Meers’a defiance of the world, the utter abandon of an intoxicated being overwhelmed by her amour proper….
